I even emailed about the product but never got a response. The camera works perfect, the microphone didn't work from the beginning. Horrible Seller.
I repaired, uninstalled/reinstalled, checked device manager, updated my online chat progs, and nothing. That is really confusing me.
so much is dumbed down, or guarded now. I do like their troubleshooting with its references to hardware and software error differentiation, and device manager checking.
Any suggestions would be well received, but the next step is to test the warranty. sigh.
After a week of happy use it freezes video after a few frames; if any is captured at all. As a very odd, but interesting thing, occasionally when I start the camera bits of my network soft/hardware exit with errors.
It reminds me very lightly and vaguely of the manuals for old hardware, where wiring schematics and complete rebuilt directions were included.
This is worth for the amount you are paying. The picture quality is satisfactory and the mike works well.
I have a Dell Vostro 1500. I was not able to get this to work on my computer. Tried several different things, but to no avail.
Consequently, I have made limited use of it. If I have a problem in the future, I will report it. I have been quite busy since receiving this camera. I am a frequent buyer of Logitech products and don't doubt that it will perform as advertised.
